Client Installation (PeerEnabler P2P Networking)
The PeerEnabler client component, known as P2P Networking, is installed on a user’s computer when required to enable peer-to-peer file access.
Installation
- Manual installation: The user downloads and runs the installer.
- Automatic installation: The application using PeerEnabler installs the component silently when needed.
Once installed:
- It runs automatically in the background by default.
- It remains active to provide continuous peer-to-peer connectivity and fast file access.
- It appears in the system tray and can be managed through the Control Panel.
- It is lightweight and optimized for minimal system resource usage.
- It provides configurable options such as download cache location and other settings.
